I’ve never really used a whitening toothpaste before. I’ve not really thought about it. I had the chance to try out the Beverly Hill Formula Charcoal* toothpaste. Lets see what this can do.
The paste, unsurprisingly comes out black. It is a bit weird to have black toothpaste.
It’s got a odd taste, but not in a bad way. I’m not sure how to describe it but it’s not unpleasant. It’s just not super minty. I actually hate it when you have a really strong minty toothpaste, one that’s really artificial and lingers for hours.
I used the toothpaste for a full three months and got through two tubes in that time.
So, does it work? Here is my before teeth. Just look at those tombstones! Not horrible, but obviously someone who drinks lots of tea.
One final point. This is vile, but when you’ve used it make sure you rise out the sink properly. The used toothpaste foam (is that the right word? But you know what I mean) isn’t white, and if you don’t rise out the sink properly the little bits dry and the skin looks filthy. Especially if you have a white sink like mine.
