After being pretty devoted to just using L’Oreal shampoo in one colour bottle or another (if it’s broke don’t fix it), I was lured in by the siren call of a Boots 3 for 2 deal. And made a change.
Garnier’s Ultimate Blends Honey Treasures shampoo and conditioner promised to help out my damaged my hair. Since I’m trying to grow it at the moment I’m not getting it cut as often, which is freaking me out that it will be full of dry, split ends. So any promise of conditioning is welcome.
It is also the first time that I’ve used hair oil in the form of the strength restorer serum. I’d heard good things but not yet taken the step.
So, how is it? It smells amazing. It’s honey, of course it smells amazing. But not sickly. It’s just a nice, sweet smell that follows you about all day.
I think the standard shampoo and conditioner was good, but using hair oil is a revelation. Even after one use your hair is so much softer and in better condition. If you take one thing from this, go and buy hair oil!
